Shrimp and Corn Bisque
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 tablespoons butter
2 - 15oz cans creamed corn
2 - 15oz cans whole corn
1 - 15oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 - 15oz can diced tomatoes
5-10 ounces water
1/4 cup Pop's Golden Gems dried shrimp powder
1.25oz package Pop's Golden Gems dried shrimp
1/2 pound fresh shrimp (or second package dried shrimp)
1 - 15oz can evaporated milk
Seasoning (salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, or seasoning of choice)
In a sauce pot, saute parsley and chopped onion in butter. Add corn, cream of mushroom soup, water, dried shrimp powder, and tomatoes. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer. Add shrimp and evaporated milk and simmer 30-40 minutes. Season to taste.
