• What can I use dried shrimp for?
  Our dried shrimp can be used in a variety of recipes including gumbo, seafood jambalaya, shrimp étouffée, and shrimp pasta. Dried shrimp can be substituted for fresh or frozen shrimp in many other recipes as well, and adds it's own unique flavor to a dish.

• What can I use dried shrimp powder for?
  Our dried shrimp powder can be used the same way as a stock or seasoning, adding flavor to seafood dishes and dips. The correct amount of powder that should be used depends on how strong you wish the flavor to be and should be added "to taste." 
  
  
• What is the shelf life of Pop's Golden Gems products?
  Both our dried shrimp and shrimp powder have a stable shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place. Shelf life can be extended to 6-12 months when refrigerated or frozen. As these are seafood products, we recommend exercising caution when consuming a product that appears or smells questionable. 
  
  
• Do dried shrimp products need to be soaked prior to use? 
  There is no need to soak products that will be used in liquid-based recipes such as soups and broths. Products that will be used in recipes with very little liquid can be reconstituted by soaking in warm water prior to use. 

• How soon can I expect my order to arrive?
  Orders are usually processed within a week and then shipped out via priority mail, which will take an additional 1-3 business days.
